F.A.Q.

What Is LifeSwitch Community Trust?

When the church obtains funding or employs staff it does so as a legal entity called LifeSwitch Community Trust. We are currently revising the trust deed by which the trust operates. If you’d like to see a copy of the proposed new deed or the current one, ask Brian Clarke.

How do I become a formal member of LifeSwitch?

If you’ve been attending the church for a while and have chosen to make this your spiritual home, we’d encourage you to think about becoming a formal member. It’s not that scary! You don’t have to sign your name on anything. It’s a matter of us agreeing to help and serve each other as we go forward together in a shared understanding of what the church is about. Being a member gives you a voice in the nomination of Elders and a vote when formal decisions are taken by LifeSwitch Community Trust. If you’d like to know more, see Paul Morris.

Is LifeSwitch a pentecostal or charismatic church?

The short answer to this question is no. We believe in the power and operation of the Holy Spirit to breathe spiritual life into individuals and to work with power in the church, but we are not what is commonly understood as a Charismatic or Pentecostal church.
