Hi, we are the Fairbrothers. Robyn and I have six children, Joel, Alicia, Ethan, Hope, Briar and Finn (for finish, final and finale’). Yes, they’re all ours and we aren’t Catholic!

Being a large family, there aren’t alot of churches that can accommodate the needs of larger families like ours. So we were excited finding Lifeswitch with it’s contemporary atmosphere, its emphasis on the importance of relationships, Kid’s Ministries and their eagerness to get closer to God in a relevant way. Seeing the varied ways of presenting the Christian gospel in relevant and contemporary ways, even had my teenage son sayings “this is awesome, can we stay here”.

I enjoy Lifeswitch because it has shown me that there must always be a balance in our Christian walk – the importance of the “spiritual” things balanced with a good knowledge of the Word. Being in community as at Lifeswitch you get plenty of both. It’s a shame that churches struggle to overcome their ‘religious’ differences and not concentrate on working together to glorify the God we all serve.
